Hello Blog!
I hope you're having a wonderful summer. I just wanted to update about what I've been up to this summer. I am declaring a Legally Blonde summer for summer 2025! I have been surrounded by all things Legally Blonde for the past two months and the fun just continues into August.
I just closed Legally Blonde at The Firehouse Center for the Arts. That production opened July 4th and closed July 27th with a total of 15 shows. I got to play a plethora of characters in this production. I had such a blast creating different voices and body langue for each one. My favorite characters to play were Courtney from the department store and Lowell the Harvard Admissions man.

Everyone worked so hard to put on a fun filled production. I met so many amazing people. This show was hard to say good-bye to.

Luckily, I didn't have to say good-bye for too long because I went straight into rehearsals for Legally Blonde with Emerald City Theatrical. We have had three rehearsals so far and I am having an absolute blast. I am getting the amazing opportunity to play my dream role, Elle Woods, alongside my amazingly talented partner, Max Connor, who will be play Emmet Forest. This cast is filled with longtime friends, so I feel so blessed to get to have my dreams come true and share it with all of them.

I have loved every Emerald City production I have been a part of! Their costumes and sets are some of the most amazing designs I have ever seen. This production only runs one weekend (August 22nd - 24th) so be sure to get your tickets!
On top of these two productions, I have also had the pleasure of Choreographing Legally Blonde Jr. at The Firehouse Center for the Arts. The children are so adorable, and I am so happy to help bring this show to life. at times it has been difficult managing three different versions of the choreography in my head, but I would trade it for the world!
At this point I know this show inside and out so I'm really hoping for a Legally Blonde revival or something. If you've read this far this is definitely your sign to go rewatch the Legally Blonde movie and embrace the color pink for the rest of the summer, I sure have! Thats all for now!
With Love,
Michelle
